This snare can play the full dynamic range without loosing articulation or tone. It is rather warm for it being so clear in its tone. The 8 lug tuning gives it a very open feel, some bottom end and roundness. Airy yet bright. Sensitive and powerful. Suited to live performances and the recording studio.
